About
Hi loves! ♥
First and foremost, I wanted to sincerely thank you for visiting my site. Whether you found me through social media, my digital marketing consultancy, or The Clean Method magazine, or simply perusing the many blogs and websites online, I want you to know how much I appreciate your visit – and hope that you stay!
My goal is to provide the same loyalty and support to all of you that you have been so kind to offer me. While I want these messages to be positive, I also want them to be authentic. I hope this can become an open forum where we can discuss what matters most to us related to all aspects of our lives – from family to spirituality to finances and of course, clean living. I hope to provide you with some of my strategies to living an empowered life, but as always, I’m learning the most from all of you. Your contributions are not only welcomed – they are celebrated!
If you want to connect with me on social, please do! ∇ Bear with me on all the accounts…clearly I have too many hobbies.

Some weird facts about me (not that you asked.) ▼
- I don’t enjoy French fries – or white potatoes. I kind of wish I did because I sincerely feel like I’m missing out on something.
- Favorite “splurge” Foods > anything with sugar! Peanut m&m’s, gummy bears, and vanilla soft-serve with rainbow sprinkles. Can’t beat it. But when I’m not splurging, I try not to overindulge in sugar.
- Everything I do is for my mother. My mother is the person that put everything on the line to do for me.
- I have an “undiagnosed” autoimmune condition that flares every six months or so. It completely depletes me of energy and sometimes leaves me bedridden. The physical pain sucks, of course, but the emotional pain associated with such chronic issues is way worse (the docs don’t always tell you that.) Though my health has been an uphill battle, I try to view it as yet another challenge that will make me stronger in life. If any of you struggle with chronic disease – or any disease – I know you get it. You are amazing.
- I don’t think there’s one diet plan, fitness regimen, supplement, etc. that will make you attain perfect health. As much as I love clean eating & living, as evidenced by my magazine, The Clean Method, I do think people can make themselves sick by worrying too much about being healthy. Don’t let your ongoing journey towards become an unhealthy habit, and remember how important happiness is for your health. Do what makes you feel good. Indulge mindfully – when you want. Try to maintain balance, but define balance for yourself.
- Never let anyone talk you out of your dreams. Whenever I let others negativity get a hold of me, it only set me back. There is such a thing as healthy criticism. But don’t mistake that for insecurity and cruelty. People that discourage you from your dreams are only doing so because they didn’t live out theirs.
- I can tolerate just about anything – except rudeness and cruelty. Since when did saying “Excuse Me” go out of style?
- When I need to clear my head I go to the park by my village. Nature grounds me.
- I also meditate 2-3 times a day.
- I am very spiritual. Since I was a kid, people thought I had some sort of 6th sense. I don’t know if that’s true but I pick up on energy. I believe in the power of intuition and trusting your gut – when I didn’t listen to it, things went awry!
- I am also a digital marketing consultant. I have been blessed with amazing opportunities in this field. I get to meet many incredible people, and most days I work in my pajamas.
- I am NOT a naturally organized person, though organizing my external space seems to really help me organize my internal space (the lovely clutter of the mind!)
- I believe that the only limits we have are the ones we create for ourselves, and that anything can be overcome. I know this because…
- Before I started The Clean Method – I had several vices. Smoking occasionally, going out a lot, not sleeping enough. Fun, to me now, is a weekend spent with the family with a good book, a little wine, a home-cooked meal, and sunset over the Long Island sound.
- Speaking of vices, I still drink too much coffee and still could use more sleep (but I’ve gotten better – and in my defense, I have that condition usually attributed to overweight, middle aged men: sleep apnea.) Go figure!
- It’s never too late to stop, start or try again.
- In my humble opinion, kindness is the most admirable quality of all.
- My highest priority in life is to continue to grow in all areas that I value – my relationships, my career, my awareness – of self and others, my knowledge, my generosity, my health – and to inspire others to do the same. I know what it feels like to need that little extra push, inspiration or dose of light. I’ve created it for myself when I’ve had none, and I know you can, too.
“It offers a nice unique twist on things. I guess having something useful or substantial to talk about is the most important thing.”
thank you! xo Christina Lee @thecleanmethod @therealchristinalee
